Warm, curious, relaxed, funny, non-judgmental, and practical. I'm relatable, low-pressure, and my clients often leave session with new insights.
You will be able to develop a compassionate relationship with various aspects of yourself, learn how these aspects serve you, and heal any old beliefs/feelings that no longer serve you. We'll invite more choices into your life. I welcome all of you!
We'll explore how your behaviors may be serving you, examine factors that influence these behaviors, and help you understand yourself better so that we can change what's not working. We'll heal the root cause of your painful feelings/actions.
I help people who are ready to change unworkable patterns of reacting, and want to heal and transform aspects of themselves that are anxious, depressed, grieving, attached to substances, stuck in trauma, and getting in the way of the life they want.
I experienced childhood anxiety, depression, and trauma. I saw a therapist who was so inspiring that I wanted to give to others what she gave to me.
I have completed Level 2 IFS training from the Internal Family Systems Institute. This is a highly effective therapy for trauma and relational issues.
I have 13 years experience treating anxiety, depression, trauma, OCD, PTSD, tobacco/nicotine dependence, substance use, and grief/loss, among many others. I have worked with Veterans, BIPOC/LGBTQIA+/neurodivergent individuals.
